Delete your account

Screendoor is a personal CRM that keeps track of the people you know and when you last spoke. You can ask us to delete your Screendoor account and its data at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

  1. If you can sign in, open Account settings, scroll to "Delete account," and confirm. This files your deletion request from your signed-in account.
  2. If you cannot sign in, submit the form below with the email address on your account.

Once we receive your request, we verify it and permanently delete the account and its data, as described below.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account and profile, including your email address, phone number, photo, home location, and preferences.
  • Every contact you have added, including their names, email addresses, phone numbers, companies, roles, locations, birthdays, photos, and notes.
  • Every interaction you have logged, with its date and summary.
  • Your tags and how they are applied to your contacts.
  • Your sessions, signed-in devices, notifications, and saved links.
  • Your sign-in connections to Google or Apple, if you use them.

What is kept

  • A limited record of the deletion request itself, so we can show the request was made and honored.
  • A shared cache of place names and coordinates, which describes cities and addresses rather than you or anyone you know.
  • Anything we are required to keep to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Retention period

Your data is removed from the live Screendoor app as soon as the account is deleted. Residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged as those backups expire, within 30 days.
